Neil Dhillon is a longtime Washington,
DC lobbyist and Global Public Affairs professional, with expertise in
strategic management, public affairs and advocacy, legislative
affairs, and media and crisis communications. He says that he
provides his clients at NA Consulting Services with “expert insight
on the legislative process, regulatory reform and influencing policy
leaders through public opinion.”
A graduate of The American University,
Neil Dhillon has been the Chief of Staff to United States Congressman
Bob Matsui, and was hand picked by President Bill Clinton to serve as
the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Government Affairs in the United
States Department of Transportation. In a special White House
ceremony in 1993, President Clinton recognized Neil Dhillon as one of
his top Asian American political appointees.
Neil Dhillon has demonstrated an
unwavering commitment to outstanding public service during his years
in the public sector. He is considered a leader in the Indian
American community and continues to value his time as the Deputy
Assistant Secretary of Governmental Affairs because it helped to
provide him with working knowledge of the executive branch,
bureaucracy and Presidential politics.
Neil Dhillon has also been the Director of Media and Public Affairs at the American Academy of Actuaries, a
Washington-based professional association, and a Senior Vice
President at Hill & Knowlton, a global consulting firm with
eighty-eight offices in forty-nine countries. He managed a large
policy staff and directed daily outreach to the White House and the
United States Congress, and led the business to be named “Agency of
the Year” for six years in a row.
