Neil Dhillon is a Global Public Affairs
professional who works in Washington, DC. He has some thirty years of
experience in public policy, and strategic and crisis communications.
He was a senior aide to former President Bill Clinton, and served as
the Chief of Staff to Robert Matsui, the late California Congressman. Neil Dhillon is known for his
problem-solving skills: in particular, his ability to solve complex
legislative and regulatory issues. He also has experience with health
issues, education, financial services, energy and the environment,
and international trade issues, among other matters. “I lead and
manage public policy and advocacy programs,” he says.
His experience includes six years as a
Senior Vice President at Hill & Knowlton International Public
Relations, where he managed a large staff and directed daily outreach
to Congress, the White House staff, and to Federal and State
government agencies. His clients included the Internet giant eBay,
Novartis, Johnson & Johnson, Hewlett-Packard, American Airlines,
the Republic of Botswana, British Midway Airways, and the Tennessee
Valley Authority.
Other past positions held by NeilDhillon include being Director of Media and Public Affairs for the
American Academy of Actuaries, a post he held for three years during
the mid-1990s, and the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Government
Affairs in the U.S. Department of Transportation, from 1993 to 1994.
Neil Dhillon is a graduate of The
American University in Washington DC. Outside of politics, his
interests include World History, Financial Services, Energy and the
Environment, Transportation and infrastructure, and IT Service and
software.
